Inspection & Quality Assurance
Manufacturing the highest quality parts that meet our client’s exact specifications is of the utmost importance to us at Standby Screw. Quality assurance is not just one part of the process. It’s worked into every single thing we do.
Our Quality Control Procedures
When we get an order, we come up with a unique and custom inspection plan for the project. Each operation and step has its own inspection requirements that our operators are trained on and expected to follow precisely. We provide all employees working on a project with the detailed quality control plan and the gauges needed to inspect.
Placed throughout our factories, we have height gauges, comparators and other inspection equipment so that our operators can easily and efficiently check parts in their own department as they are being made, without having to go back and forth to the Quality Lab.
Before parts are moved away from a machine, one of our floor auditors verifies once more that we are conforming to the specifications of the project. We use tablet computers on the shop floor to manually enter and record the data. Parts are then stamped to move along.
Investing in Our People and Our Equipment
Because quality is such an important part of what we do, we spare no expense when it comes to making sure both our employees and our machinery are up to par. All of our operators are trained extensively on our quality assurance procedures. Our state of the art machinery is constantly being monitored and tested to ensure that it’s producing perfect parts every time.
ISO 9001:2008 Certified
Both of our plants are ISO 9001:2008 registered which helps us to ensure our quality management systems are as effective as possible and continuously improving.
Quality You Can Trust
The quality of our products and our clients’ satisfaction is too important to us to just let it slide. When you work with us, you can have the confidence of knowing you will be getting the highest level of quality possible.
