Speed, cost effectiveness, and above all – precision. Manufacturing the highest quality parts that meet our client’s exact specifications is of the utmost importance to us at Standby Screw. Quality assurance is not just one part of our process, it’s worked into every single step we take.

Our Quality Control Procedures

When we receive an order, we create a unique and custom inspection plan for the project. Each operation and step has its own inspection requirements that our operators are trained on and expected to follow precisely. We provide all employees working on a project with the detailed quality control plan and the gauges needed to inspect.

Placed throughout our factories, we have height gauges, comparators, and other inspection equipment so that our operators can easily and efficiently check parts in their own department as they are being made, without having to go back and forth to the Quality Lab.

Before parts are moved away from a machine, a floor auditor verifies once more that we are conforming to the specifications of the project. We use tablet computers on the shop floor to manually enter and record the data. Parts are then stamped to move along.
