Standby Screw Leads CWRU Baja Team to Best Season in History
It was so great to see the Case Western Reserve University Baja Team wrap up another successful season three weekends ago at Hogback Hill Motocross Park in Rochester, New York. The weekend featured best-ever finishes by the team in Acceleration and Hill Climb, earning 3rd and 4th places, respectively. The 3rd place finish in Acceleration earned the team its first performance-based trophy. The team also earned a best ever 5th place overall in all the four dynamic events; you can see the exciting footage from the Suspension and Traction course here. In the static events, the team finished 6th in the Sales Presentation and 12th in the Design Presentation. Overall, the team tied its mark from California to finish 23rd out of the 95 teams from around the world that attended the Rochester competition.
Rochester was the final competition for the team’s five seniors who devoted endless hours throughout their years at Case Western to the team. Their hard work and dedication has built CWRU Baja into an award-winning team that continues to improve each and every year. It’s been our pleasure to sponsor all of you and we can’t wait for next season!
